In the wake of his last-place finish in the Nevada caucus on Saturday, former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum is not giving up hope of remaining in the race until the bitter end. According to preliminary results, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney won the contest in the Silver State with 48 percent of the votes. Former House speaker Newt Gingrich was the favorite of 23 percent of GOP caucus-goers, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul took the third place with 19 percent of the votes. Mr. Santorum, who did very little campaigning in Nevada, garnered 11-percent support.
